Club’s Summer of Making.&lt;&#x2F;p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Godot was new to me when I started it. Coming from web work, the thing that took adjusting
to was the scene tree: everything is a node, and getting collision and scoring to behave
meant understanding how signals travel between them rather than reaching for a global.&lt;&#x2F;p&gt;
